Nick May

Nick joined Kemmons Wilson Companies in 2026 and serves as Controller in the fund operations department. He oversees hospitality and REIT accounting, entity-level compliance, and finance functions across KWC’s multi-property hotel portfolio.

Prior to joining KWC, Nick began his career in audit at Deloitte & Touché LLP, progressing to Audit Senior on engagements for large public clients. He then served as Assistant Controller for the Memphis Grizzlies, leading the Accounting/Finance team through close, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Nick is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor and Master of Accountancy degrees with Summa Cum Laude distinction. He later earned his MBA from the University of Memphis. Nick has been a practicing CPA since 2018, COSO Internal Control–certified, and a graduate of the New Memphis Institute’s Embark leadership program.

Nick lives in Memphis with his wife, Allyn, and their daughter. Outside of work, he serves as treasurer of the City House Condominiums HOA board. Nick enjoys attending football games, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
