Webb Wilson

Webb joined Kemmons Wilson Companies (KWC) as a Principal in 2012 and became CEO in 2022. Webb currently serves on the board of Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners (KWHP), Billy Reid, Central BBQ, Loeffler Randall, and Howler Brothers.

Webb began his career as an Investment Analyst and eventually became a Portfolio Manager at Centennial Partners. Webb interned at Balyasny Asset Management in Chicago during business school. Upon graduation, he put this financial experience to use by returning to Memphis to work for KWC where he built and managed portfolios for Wilson Investment Management.

In the decade prior to being named CEO, Webb came to focus primarily on private equity and real-estate activities at KWC. He has led or co-led more than $1B in transactions with a focus on consumerfacing companies, including Billy Reid, Central BBQ, Loeffler Randall, Tecovas, Howler Brothers, Wiseacre Brewing, and various hospitality ventures including Holiday Inn Club Vacations and Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners.

As a proud Memphian, Webb has engaged civically by serving as the Chairman of the Board at Bridges USA where he co-led a successful endowment campaign. He also co-led the Mighty Lights effort adding new light shows to the two Memphis bridges. Webb currently serves on the Board of Governors for New Memphis Institute and Kemmons Wilson Family Foundation.

Webb holds a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. Webb earned his CFA Charter in 2012.
