Sam Stovall

Sam joined Kemmons Wilson Companies in 2023 and serves as a Senior Associate on the investments team, where he assists with deal execution, sourcing, underwriting, and asset management across KWHP’s hospitality portfolio.

Since joining KWC, Sam has been involved in over $750 million in transaction volume across 10+ acquisitions, spanning investment structures including fee simple acquisitions, preferred equity, take privates and Just-In-Time timeshare conversions.

Prior to joining KWC, Sam began his career at Stephens Inc., where he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst and Associate, covering the industrials and technology sectors for over five years.

Sam is a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he majored in Finance for his undergraduate degree and earned his MBA, also concentrated in Finance, completing both degrees in four years with Honors.

Originally from Arkansas, Sam now lives in Memphis with his wife Abigail and their son. Outside of work, he’s an avid sports fan, competes in too many fantasy football leagues, and stays active through working out and the occasional half marathon.
