David Rochefort

David Rochefort joined KWC in 2023 to oversee the day-to-day execution of the hospitality funds and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Asset Management for KWC Management LLC. David has participated in over $3 billion in hospitality transactions throughout his career which spans across the public and private markets.

Prior to joining KWC, David was a Partner at Castle Peak Holdings, playing an instrumental role in developing Trailborn, an outdoor oriented hospitality brand, and building out the company’s institutional processes and procedures. From 2014 to 2021, David worked at AJ Capital Partners, playing an instrumental role in building and developing the Graduate Hotels brand while overseeing the growth of the real estate portfolio to thirty-six locations. David served as President of Graduate with oversight over both the internal brand and asset functions and the external management partnership with Schulte Hospitality. David started his career as the first analyst hired at Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (NYSE: PEB) post-IPO. During his four years at PEB, the company grew from three to thirty-three hotels.

David holds a BS in Hospitality Administration and a minor in Real Estate Finance from the Cornell Hotel School and was a two-time 1st team All-Ivy selection in baseball. He is an active participant in the Hotel Asset Managers Association (HAMA) and has served on the board of the Boutique Lodging Association.
