Ryan Pellum

Ryan joined the Kemmons Wilson family office in 2007, and he currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance of KWC Management. Ryan focuses on the cash management, operations, and reporting of the Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Funds, as well as overseeing the accounting, audits, payroll, tax, and technology needs for KWC Management and the Kemmons Wilson family. Over the course of his time with KWC, he has handled all aspects of finance for the family office starting as a staff accountant and transitioning over to handle the tax return preparation for the family’s various businesses. Later, he took over as the corporate controller for the family office.

Ryan is married to Ashley and they have two boys (Tristan and Noah). He serves as the chairman of the finance committee and as the acoustic guitarist for Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. He is also an avid woodworker and believes that having a hobby that you truly enjoy and a family you can poor into keeps life as a whole in perspective.

Ryan holds a BA in business administration from Delta State University with a double major in accounting and information technology, a master’s degree of accountancy from the Graduate School of Accounting at the University of Mississippi and, in 2012, earned a CPA License from the Mississippi State Board of Accountancy.
